Job Summary

Supporting front end hospital billing operations, the full-time remote Tennessee Licensed Hospital Billing Specialist will manage the review, correction, and submission of hospital claims to various insurance payers, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines and maintaining a high clean claim rate.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily front end hospital billing activities to ensure accurate claims submission to insurance payers
• Review and resolve front end claim edits before claims are released to payers
• Maintain a high clean claim rate by ensuring claims meet payer billing guidelines prior to submission

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of front end hospital billing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience submitting hospital claims through billing clearinghouses required
• Working knowledge of institutional hospital claims and payer billing requirements required
• Experience resolving front end claim edits before payer adjudication required
