Job Summary
A company is looking for a Human Resources Director for a short-term engagement in the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and process all State of Tennessee employee benefits forms, documentation, and reporting requirements
- Ensure timely submission of enrollment changes, eligibility updates, terminations, and compliance-related benefits filings
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the State of Tennessee Benefits Administration
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing State of Tennessee employee benefits forms and reporting
- Background working in a higher education environment or similarly structured public sector organization strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success supporting mid to large sized workforces (1,500-2,000+ employees)
- Strong understanding of benefits compliance, eligibility rules, and state mandated timelines
- Ability to step into a hands-on, fast-moving environment and quickly stabilize day-to-day operations
