Job Summary

To effectively manage property damage claims, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Liability Claims Examiner will review, evaluate, and settle claims while minimizing risk exposure, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage claim exposures from inception to resolution, gathering and analyzing facts related to property damage claims
• Oversee claims-processing activities, including investigations, coverage reviews, and settlement negotiations
• Provide claim resolution strategies and recommendations to ensure fair and prompt settlements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience in liability claims handling, preferably in property damage or commercial motor carrier claims
• Strong understanding of property damage claims and liability assessment
• Knowledge of state-specific insurance laws and regulations
• Relevant certifications such as Associate in Claims or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter preferred
