Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Medical Benefits Rep will perform outbound and inbound calls, process prior authorization requests, and verify patient eligibility and benefits while working remotely during any 8-hour shift between 8 AM and 9 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients through outbound and inbound calls, addressing their medical benefits inquiries
• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications, services, and procedures
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits with insurance carriers, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company policies

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience in medical benefits or prior authorizations
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims, and benefits verification
• Ability to manage high call volumes and multitask effectively
• Must have high-speed internet with modem access (hotspots not accepted)
