Tennessee Licensed Medical Billing Auditor

Job Summary

To support a growing home health agency, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Medical Billing Auditor will manage and audit insurance verifications, ensure accurate billing practices, and resolve outstanding account issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and audit primary and secondary insurance verifications for various medical insurances
• Conduct pre-billing audits and maintain patient accounts, including monthly statements and collections
• Research and resolve issues related to EOB rejections and outstanding accounts

Required qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years' experience in Healthcare Billing and Collections, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Proficient in medical billing software systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Home Health billing experience is required
• Experience with Way Star and Well Sky software is preferred
