Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review physician orders, H&P's, and Progress Notes for accuracy and compliance, correcting errors as necessary
• Provide technical guidance to staff on creating medical orders and navigating the electronic records system
• Ensure timely processing and follow-up of delinquent F2F Orders and manage related phone calls and email requests

Required Qualifications

• ICD10 Coding training/experience required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Home Care
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical information systems required
• Background in Medicare regulations in Home Care
• Minimum of an Associate Degree preferred
