Tennessee Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the remote Tennessee Licensed Mental Health Counselor will provide therapy-focused services to clients, set their own hours, and manage a flexible caseload without the need for marketing or outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live video sessions and provide messaging and asynchronous care to clients
• Manage intake and discharge processes while maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborate with clients in a therapy-focused model, ensuring no claims or billing work is required

Required qualifications

• Active Tennessee state license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent
• Independent practice capability with a CAQH number
• Experience in telehealth counseling or virtual mental health services
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and manage a diverse caseload
• Commitment to personal mental health, including participation in free therapy sessions offered by the practice
