Job Summary

To support a growing panel of specialty reviewers, the part-time Board Certified Physician Reviewer - Neurological Surgery with a Tennessee License will evaluate medical necessity for treatment requests and appeals, working remotely on a contract basis with flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess medical necessity for treatment requests and previously denied services
• Manage a customized caseload based on personal availability and dictate volume of work
• Provide advisory-only opinions without establishing a doctor/patient relationship

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Tennessee Medical License
• Active practice in Neurological Surgery
• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
