Tennessee Licensed Nuclear Engineer

Job Summary

To advance clean nuclear energy, a part-time contract Nuclear Engineer will review and validate human-system interfaces, support the creation of operating procedures, and analyze complex requirements for plant control while working remotely from Knoxville, Tennessee.

Key responsibilities

• Review, test, and validate human-system interfaces using simulators and comprehensive plant procedures
• Support the development of high-quality operating procedures and operator training programs
• Analyze design specifications and incorporate them into detailed engineering documents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• 5+ years of experience in reactor operations and human factors engineering (HFE)
• Current RO license
• Experience with reliability and testing in a nuclear environment
