Job Summary

A company is looking for a UM Nurse Consultant to utilize clinical experience in managing healthcare services and benefits for members.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather clinical information to make coverage determinations and recommendations
• Communicate with providers to facilitate care and identify referral opportunities
• Promote quality and effectiveness of healthcare services and consult with internal and external constituents

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active and unrestricted RN licensure in state of residence
• Diploma RN acceptable; Associate degree/BSN preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of clinical experience in acute or post-acute settings
• 1+ years of Utilization Management / Care Management experience preferred
