Job Summary
To support a Substance Use Disorder Program, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Nurse Educator will provide nursing education and support to prenatal and postpartum clients through remote interactions while coordinating with healthcare providers and community agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Provides education and support to clients via video-conference visits, teleconference, and text messaging
- Completes assessments and screenings following program guidelines and documents interventions based on client needs
- Coordinates with healthcare providers and community resources to ensure quality care and achieve set goals
Required qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee or possess a compact license from NCSBN
- Graduation from an accredited RN program (associate degree, diploma, or BSN)
- 3+ years of experience in obstetric, women's health, psychiatric, behavioral health, or NICU nursing
- Demonstrates trauma-informed care practices in client-centered services
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate a cloud-based environment
