Job Summary
Providing essential clinical care, the contract Tennessee Licensed Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents through virtual appointments while emphasizing evidence-based treatment and culturally-responsive care.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and construct patient-centered treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while ensuring adherence to clinical best practices
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or accredited PA program with relevant certification
- Unrestricted state license in Tennessee
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience
- Active DEA license preferred for NPs and PA-Cs
- Experience or certification in treating minors is preferred
