Job Summary
Seeking a fully remote, part-time Tennessee Licensed Nursing Informatics Faculty member, this position will provide mentorship and guidance to students, engage actively in the learning process, and integrate real-world examples into course discussions while evaluating student work in an online setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and professional support to students, modeling excellence in academic and professional practice
- Foster enthusiasm for learning and actively engage with students to enhance the educational experience
- Evaluate student assignments using established rubrics, delivering constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in nursing with at least 18 hours of directly related graduate coursework
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a Nurse Licensure Compact state or willingness to apply for licensure in Tennessee
- Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare informatics
- Preference for candidates with prior online teaching experience and informatics certification (HIMSS or ANCC)
