Job Summary
Providing remote support to client employees, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Occupational Health Nurse will manage telephonic occupational health hotline services, triage concerns, and coordinate care while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations
- Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice while delivering evidence-based care to injured workers
- Maintains patient health records and collaborates with healthcare professionals on health programs and injury prevention
Required qualifications
- Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice required
- Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred
- Current certification in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required
- At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
