Tennessee Licensed Occupational Health Nurse

Job Summary

Providing remote support to client employees, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Occupational Health Nurse will manage telephonic occupational health hotline services, triage concerns, and coordinate care while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice while delivering evidence-based care to injured workers
• Maintains patient health records and collaborates with healthcare professionals on health programs and injury prevention

Required qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice required
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred
• Current certification in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required
• At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
