Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Order Entry Pharmacist PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations for the effective use of pharmaceuticals in patient care
• Provide patient care activities and ensure safe and effective drug therapy
• Accurately enter orders and screen for drug interactions and appropriateness prior to order entry

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Three (3) years of hospital experience preferred
• Appropriate state licensure
• Experience with Meditech or HMS operating systems preferred
• Proficiency in required operating systems and tools relevant to pharmacy practice
