Tennessee Licensed Order Entry Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Order Entry Pharmacist PRN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations for the effective use of pharmaceuticals
• Provide patient care activities to ensure safe and effective drug therapy
• Accurately enter orders in the computer and screen for drug interactions and allergies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Three (3) years of hospital experience preferred
• Appropriate state licensure
• Proficiency in relevant operating systems (e.g., Meditech, CPCS, Microsoft Office)
• Experience with automated dispensing machines and clinical pharmacology tools
