Job Summary

A company is looking for a Paralegal, Account Resolution (MVA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents for MVA lien enforcement actions, including demand letters and settlement verification letters
• Provide legal support to attorneys for accounts in the MVA division
• Engage in account resolution through negotiations with carriers and attorneys within predetermined settlement authority

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Paralegal Certification or equivalent degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA program or college
• 2 years of prior paralegal experience
• Experience in negotiation on behalf of a law firm/attorney is preferred
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office applications
• Understanding of legal terminology and civil litigation processes
