Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Pharmacist to support prescription processing for a specialty pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify physician orders for medications using pharmacy information systems and address automated alerts
- Enter and validate medication orders in the pharmacy information system, prioritizing based on order status
- Comply with pharmacy regulations and assist in training new staff as needed
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
- TN Pharmacist License is required
- May require vendor credentialing
