Job Summary

Providing prescription order entry and verification, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Pharmacist will support a remote specialty pharmacy focused on renal disease medications, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintaining communication with healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders for medications and address automated alerts using the pharmacy information system
  • Enter and validate medication orders, prioritizing based on urgency
  • Assist with training and education of new team members while ensuring compliance with state regulations and pharmacy policies
Required qualifications
  • 1-2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Tennessee Pharmacist License required
  • May require vendor credentialing
