Tennessee Licensed Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support a specialty pharmacy focused on renal disease, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Pharmacist will provide prescription order entry, verification, and processing while working remotely with a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physician orders for medications using pharmacy information systems and address automated alerts regarding drug types and dosages
• Enter and validate medication orders in the client facility pharmacy information system, prioritizing based on order status
• Comply with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and assist in training new team members as needed

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Active TN Pharmacist License required
• Ability to obtain vendor credentialing may be required
