Job Summary
To support a specialty pharmacy focused on renal disease, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Pharmacist will provide prescription order entry, verification, and processing while working remotely with a flexible schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Verify physician orders for medications using pharmacy information systems and address automated alerts regarding drug types and dosages
- Enter and validate medication orders in the client facility pharmacy information system, prioritizing based on order status
- Comply with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and assist in training new team members as needed
Required qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Active TN Pharmacist License required
- Ability to obtain vendor credentialing may be required
