Job Summary
Leading day-to-day operations for prior authorization and appeals programs, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Pharmacy Director will ensure efficient, compliant, and member-focused service delivery while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Direct operations for prior authorization and appeals, maintaining compliance with clinical coverage policies and regulatory standards
- Monitor utilization trends and appeal outcomes to identify improvement opportunities and support affordability initiatives
- Lead and mentor managers and staff, fostering continuous improvement in service quality and performance metrics
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) required
- Minimum 8 years of clinical experience required
- Minimum 6 years of practical experience in a managed care environment
- Minimum 4 years of supervisory or leadership responsibilities required
- Licensed in Tennessee to practice Pharmacy, or eligible for licensure in the state of Tennessee
