Job Summary
Supporting the Senior Care Outreach and Retention team, the full-time remote Tennessee Licensed Pharmacy Specialist will assist members with medication adherence and healthcare needs through inbound and outbound phone interactions, while providing education on prescriptions and health plan benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting outbound educational calls regarding medication adherence to members, prescribers, and pharmacists
- Documenting member interactions and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the member experience
- Motivating members to refill prescriptions and coordinating necessary communications with providers and pharmacies
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
- 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy or comparable customer service environment
- 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting with knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
