Job Summary
To support the establishment of physician-owned professional corporations, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Physician President will provide clinical governance, oversee regulatory compliance, and manage NP-led care models remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as sole or majority shareholder and President of state-specific professional corporations
- Approve clinical protocols and quality standards for NP-delivered care
- Oversee credentialing, peer review, and clinical quality committees
Required qualifications
- MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license and willingness to obtain additional state licensure
- Active, unrestricted DEA registration
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred
- Current Medicare enrollment with no revocations or payment suspensions
- Experience supervising NPs or serving as Medical Director in post-acute or telehealth settings
