Job Summary
To support the Tennessee Poison Center, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Poison Specialist will triage calls regarding poisonings, provide management and treatment recommendations, and maintain accurate medical records while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtains critical information and provides accurate assessments and management recommendations for potential poisonings
- Makes appropriate decisions based on triage needs and documents all exposure cases accurately
- Conducts follow-up calls to hospitals on patients until discharged
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as a Pharmacist in Tennessee
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program
