Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary

To support the health needs of students, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse will assist the Registered Nurse in developing health-related plans and performing healthcare procedures in a school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with students, staff, and community resources to address health-related issues
• Assist in the assessment of health and safety needs of students under RN supervision
• Model appropriate behavior aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values

Required qualifications

• Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• 1-3 years of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a community or pediatric setting
• Licensed Practical Nurse certification from the Tennessee Board of Nursing
• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from the American Heart Association
