Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth behavioral health team, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for patients with various mental health conditions in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients via telehealth
- Manage a panel of patients with diverse psychiatric diagnoses, adjusting medications and monitoring progress as needed
- Complete timely clinical documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding telehealth practice
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee; multi-state licensure preferred
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMH-NP-BC) required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a PMH-NP, preferably in outpatient or telehealth settings
- Active DEA registration with prescriptive authority for controlled substances
