Job Summary
To support a behavioral health program, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct initiating psychiatric evaluations via telehealth, set care plans, and supervise peer support specialists while managing their own schedule as an independent contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and establish care plans for patients entering PIN-PS programs
- Document visits in the EHR within 48 hours to ensure clean, billable standards
- Provide general supervision of certified peer support specialists delivering navigation services
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted APRN/NP licensure in Tennessee or other states
- National board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Ability to meet state-specific collaboration or supervision requirements
- Active NPI and eligibility to enroll with Medicare and Medicaid
- Experience and comfort with telehealth care for adults with serious behavioral health conditions
