Job Summary

Providing medical oversight for Nurse Practitioners, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Pulmonary Physician will ensure compliance, conduct patient assessments, and collaborate remotely to optimize care using advanced monitoring technology.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Nurse Practitioners in remote patient monitoring and provide medical supervision
• Conduct comprehensive patient chart reviews to ensure quality and compliance in healthcare documentation
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and provide medical insights for patient care recommendations

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active Tennessee medical license
• Board certification in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, or equivalent
• Medicare eligible and familiar with Tennessee NP collaborative practice agreement requirements
• Strong ability to interpret clinical data and collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams
