Job Summary
To support expectant and new mothers in Tennessee, the remote, part-time Registered Dietitian will deliver specialized nutrition education and individualized dietary plans through virtual consultations, focusing on high-risk pregnancies and chronic health conditions.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized perinatal and postpartum nutrition education via scheduled, virtual visits
- Facilitate scheduled, virtual group classes for perinatal and postpartum nutrition
- Ensure clear and precise documentation for all care interactions
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current licensure to practice in Tennessee
- Experience providing medical nutrition therapy for perinatal and postpartum individuals managing conditions such as diabetes and hypertension
- Experience serving families eligible for Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC programs
- Access to reliable home internet and proficiency in using EHR and messaging platforms
