Job Summary
To support healthcare operations, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Regulatory Counsel will identify legal risks, manage complex legal matters, and provide compliance counsel remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide risk assessments and counsel on compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Assist business development and operations teams in resolving regulatory matters
- Monitor changes in regulatory areas and educate personnel on compliance updates
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate Law degree
- 5-7 years of experience as a regulatory counsel
- Active Attorney license from the Board of Professional Responsibility
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws affecting healthcare organizations
- Ability to draft and review complex legal documents and contracts
