Job Summary
Leading greenfield utility-scale renewable development projects, the full-time Sr. Renewables Project Development Team Leader will manage project de-risking strategies and oversee cross-functional teams, focusing on bringing renewable energy battery storage projects from site origination to NTP while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of strategies for utility-scale renewable projects
- Manage the full lifecycle of greenfield development assets, including permitting and interconnection
- Negotiate commercial agreements such as PPAs and interconnection agreements
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, including wind, solar PV, and energy storage
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects in renewable development
- Demonstrated success in taking projects from greenfield site origination to NTP/COD
- Experience with various project agreements, including site leases and power purchase agreements
- Strong understanding of project permitting, siting, and due diligence for utility-scale renewables
