Tennessee Licensed Secondary Math Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Secondary Teacher, Math (Grades 6-12).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging virtual lessons aligned with Tennessee State Standards for Mathematics for grades 6-12
• Provide individualized support and maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
• Collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success and facilitate small group instruction

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field is required
• A valid Tennessee teaching license with an endorsement in Secondary Mathematics (grades 6-12) or equivalent is required
• Minimum of two (2) years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
• Experience teaching a range of secondary mathematics courses (e.g., Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics)
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing online learning platforms and educational technology tools
