Job Summary

Building the accounting function from the ground up, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Senior Accountant will manage the month-end close process, produce financial reports, and lead the company through its first external audit in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring a clean and timely cycle
• Produce monthly internal financial statements and supporting analytics for board reporting
• Prepare for and serve as the primary contact for external auditors during the first full audit

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a public accounting foundation
• Active CPA or CPA-eligible with imminent licensure
• Demonstrated ownership of month-end close in a high-growth company
• Strong technical accounting knowledge under US GAAP
• Experience leading or supporting an early-stage external audit
