Tennessee Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the month-end close process, the full-time remote Tennessee Licensed Senior Accountant will prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and contribute to the accuracy of financial statements and reports, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern and Central time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly standard and adjusting journal entries, including cash transaction accruals and intercompany activities
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Assist in annual financial audits and perform ad-hoc reporting and special projects as required by management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of public accounting and 2 years of private accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
