Tennessee Licensed Senior Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Attorney - Lead Counsel (Multi-level).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel, advice, and direction to various departments regarding regulatory affairs and environmental issues
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while managing legal obligations
• Coordinate and oversee outside counsel performance in department-specific legal matters

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an Accredited Bar Association (ABA) and admission to the bar
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience as a practicing attorney in a relevant area of law
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience as an attorney, with at least six (6) years in a job-specific area of law
• Experience with trucking, personal injury, and/or commercial litigation is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and experience analyzing litigation data
