Tennessee Licensed Senior Claims Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing risk management team, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Senior Claims Representative will independently investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct timely interviews with relevant parties to evaluate the compensability of claims and manage payment of benefits
• Coordinate with injured employees and store personnel regarding medical documentation and facilitate return-to-work processes
• Utilize professional judgment to reserve, handle, and resolve complex claims, providing direction to defense attorneys and other stakeholders as needed

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience handling complex and/or litigated workers' compensation claims
• Advanced knowledge of medical and legal terminology
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize complex claims
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to handle confrontational situations in a mature and professional manner
