Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coding Specialist, Surgery E/M - 100% REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop efficient workflows to organize and prioritize complex coding work for compliance and targets
• Utilize coding classification systems to ensure accurate code selection and reflect appropriate codes
• Identify documentation gaps and initiate queries to clarify documentation for accurate code assignment

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Certifications such as Certified Coding Associate or Certified Coding Specialist from recognized organizations
• Advanced knowledge in medical professional and outpatient facility coding
• Understanding of compliance regulations and guidelines related to coding
