Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coding Specialist with E/M coding experience, working 100% remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop efficient workflows for complex coding work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Utilize coding classification systems to ensure accurate code selection and identify documentation gaps
• Provide guidance and support to coding staff on complex coding scenarios and stay updated on coding regulations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Certification as a Coding Associate, Coding Specialist, or similar from recognized organizations
• Advanced knowledge in medical professional and outpatient facility coding
• Understanding of medical terminology and documentation in healthcare settings
