Job Summary
Managing the organization's litigation portfolio, the full-time salaried Tennessee Licensed Senior Counsel will provide strategic legal advice on disputes, oversee litigation matters, and collaborate with executive leadership in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as lead attorney for litigation matters and develop litigation strategies with executive leadership
- Evaluate claims, manage mediations, arbitrations, and settlements, and oversee various legal matters including employment and regulatory issues
- Advise leaders on dispute resolution, monitor litigation budgets, and prepare reports for leadership and the Board
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 10 years of litigation experience in a law firm or sophisticated in-house legal department
- 5 years of equivalent experience in healthcare
- Significant experience managing complex civil litigation
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
