Job Summary

To deliver exceptional virtual education to middle school students, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Social Studies Teacher will develop curriculum, foster an inclusive online learning environment, and utilize innovative teaching methods while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to align with state standards and meet diverse learning needs
• Foster student engagement and manage behavior in a virtual classroom setting
• Design, administer, and assess assignments while providing timely feedback to support student progress

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Valid Tennessee teaching certificate with endorsements in Social Studies
• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
• Experience using Google Workspace suite in a professional or academic setting
• Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with specified bandwidth requirements
