Tennessee Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations remotely, a Tennessee Licensed Staff Accountant will prepare and post journal entries, manage the monthly journal entry process for assigned facilities, and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries for assigned hospitals and facility portfolios
• Manage the monthly journal entry process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with close timelines
• Perform general ledger analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including journal entry preparation in a high-volume environment
• Strong month-end close experience and knowledge of accrual accounting
• Experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement analysis
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and intermediate Excel skills
