Job Summary
To support a growing treatment team, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Staff Provider will facilitate rapid-access intakes and provide ongoing medical support to members using telemedicine, while collaborating with colleagues to ensure successful treatment transitions and adherence to clinical policies.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct intake medical duties, including prescribing medications and determining treatment appropriateness
- Maintain a panel of maintenance members, providing monthly group and individual sessions as needed
- Complete all medical documentation accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Required qualifications
- Active state license as a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant in good standing
- At least 1 year of experience managing opioid use disorder (OUD) with buprenorphine
- Experience working in a team-based care setting with behavioral health providers
- Willingness to become licensed in multiple states and credentialed with relevant health plans
- Access to reliable internet and telephone services for telemedicine support
