Tennessee Licensed Telehealth Physician

Job Summary

To support an innovative care delivery model, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Telehealth Physician will conduct initial virtual visits with members, assess their medical needs, and collaborate with a care team to establish clinical plans while working remotely as an independent contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial telehealth visits with enrolled members to assess medical needs and barriers to care
• Establish clear clinical plans and care priorities in collaboration with care team members
• Provide clinical insight to refine program workflows during the pilot phase

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Tennessee license
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty preferred
• Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or complex populations
• Interest in care coordination and whole-person care models
• Telehealth experience preferred
