Job Summary
To support dermatology patients effectively, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Triage Specialist will perform telephone triage, manage patient scheduling, and relay pathology results while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phones and return voicemails to address patient inquiries and transfer calls as needed
- Prioritize and relay pathology results, schedule surgeries, and perform pre-op assessments under provider guidelines
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMA system
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or higher
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant
- Understanding of medical surgical procedures and common pathology diagnoses
- Experience with patient scheduling and charting
- Familiarity with handling stat emergent situations
