Job Summary
Managing workers' compensation claims, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Workers Compensation Claims Representative will investigate incidents, coordinate medical and disability management, and ensure compliance with state laws while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with injured employees and medical providers within 24 hours of reported incidents to evaluate compensability and manage claims
- Develop action plans for medical management and claim resolution by evaluating claim exposure and coordinating with relevant parties
- Maintain compliance with state workers' compensation laws and regulations while managing benefits and facilitating return-to-work efforts
Required qualifications
- Extensive claim handling experience with a focus on workers' compensation
- Strong decision-making and complex problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in medical and legal terminology
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred; college degree is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
