Job Summary

To support the workers' compensation line of business, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Workers' Compensation Underwriter will analyze and document risks for new and renewal business, manage client relationships, and ensure accurate policy issuance while working remotely from Tennessee.

Key responsibilities
  • Analyze and document risks for new and renewal business, making independent underwriting decisions to support profitability
  • Collaborate with agency partners to ensure timely issuance of quotations, policies, and necessary documentation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents and clients through regular communication and visits
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or related field, or equivalent industry experience with designations such as CPCU, CIC, or CRM
  • Minimum of two years of insurance underwriting experience, preferably in workers' compensation
  • Demonstrated proficiency in underwriting skills and ability to earn underwriting authority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications
  • Advanced analytical ability to assess risks and make profitable decisions
