Job Summary

A company is looking for a Precertification Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies and third-party administrators to determine pre-authorization and medical necessity requirements for outpatient radiology exams
• Obtain pre-authorization before scheduled services are performed
• Act as a liaison between patients and referring physician offices to obtain additional clinical documentation when needed

Required Qualifications

• Background in healthcare preferred
• Working knowledge of medical billing and managed care
• Experience with eClinicalWorks Practice Management System preferred
• Ability to work in CST time-zone
• Remote work capability
