Tennis Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support the development of cutting-edge sports betting products, the fully remote Tennis Data Scientist will ideate, develop, and enhance machine learning models while collaborating with data engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve machine learning and statistical models for sports betting products
• Analyze model performance and identify weaknesses to guide further development
• Document modeling work and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience developing models for Tennis or sports betting at production scale
• Expertise in Probability Theory, Machine Learning, and Bayesian Statistics
• 5+ years of experience delivering effective machine learning or statistical models in sports
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with AWS environments
