Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Humanities and Communication Artificial Intelligence Specialization

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Humanities and Communication with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create new course offerings related to artificial intelligence and its social, cultural, and ethical implications
• Teach general education courses in writing, communication, humanities, and literature
• Maintain an exemplary level of research and scholarly activity

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in English, Communication, Media Studies, or a related field with a specialization in digital humanities and/or digital communication studies
• Demonstrated competency in artificial intelligence studies and practices
• ABD candidates near completion of their dissertations will also be considered
• Strong teaching record and ability to develop a program in artificial intelligence and the liberal arts
• Ability to contribute to departmental, college, and/or university committees
