Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-oriented, the full-time Test Automation Engineer will design, build, maintain, and execute automated test solutions for a complex PeopleSoft HCM environment, working remotely while focusing on improving software quality through robust test automation using OpenText UFT.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for PeopleSoft HCM enhancements and production support activities
• Build scalable, reusable UFT-based automation assets and develop supporting scripts for improved automation execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and align test coverage with release priorities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of software QA and test automation experience supporting enterprise applications
• Hands-on expertise with OpenText UFT, including scripting and object repository management
• Experience automating testing for PeopleSoft HCM or similar enterprise systems
• U.S. Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
